Pick-up Membership ($25/month): Just like municipal trash and recycling service, simply place your GCF compost bucket full of compostable materials out in front of your house every Tuesday morning and we'll come by and swap it out with a fresh, clean bucket to use the following week.

Drop-off Membership ($10/month): Visit our lovely GCF facility at your convenience to drop off your bucket full of compostable material and take a fresh, clean bucket home with you.

Johnston Square Residents (red area of map): Receive their first year of GCF membership completely free! After the first year, Johnston Square Neighbors will receive the 40% discount on standard pricing. Select “JSQ - Free first year”.

Greenmount Compost Factory (GCF) is a membership-based community composting program located just south of historic Greenmount Cemetery in East Baltimore's Johnston Square neighborhood. Reduce your carbon footprint by diverting your kitchen waste from incineration or landfills and support a more healthful ecosystem.
